On vintage instruments this finish was originally a transparent red lacquer sprayed over a gold or silver base coat. This can be achieved by spraying our Heritage Cherry Red over top of Goldtop.

Like other metallic’s, this should be sprayed over a White Primer base coat and then Clear Coated to create the depth and effect expected with this finish
